Women in Journalism runs a year-round programme of events, including skills workshops, talks, panel discussions and social events. Our events bring journalists together to learn, share experience and connect with others working across the industry.
Some events are open to all while others are reserved just for members. Members also benefit from discounted ticket prices. Places are limited and events often sell out so early booking is recommended.
Advanced AI Course: AI and Documents – Finding stories in the pile

A hands-on session for journalists who want to get more from AI when working with documents, from surfacing leads and spotting tip-offs to creating a powerful, searchable archive with NotebookLM and Pinpoint.
Hackathon at Google – Members Only

Women in Journalism is hosting our first ever hackathon at the Google HQ in Holborn. The day is in partnership with the Xoogler network and places are very limited.
CV Clinic Series: Building a sustainable journalism portfolio
