You’ll explore where AI tools can genuinely help with analysis, extraction and transformation and how to find a treasure trove of stories buried in datasets. The focus is on practical newsroom tips and maintaining editorial oversight while working more efficiently.
The session will be led by Paul Bradshaw, Data Journalist, BBC.
In this session you will learn to:
- How AI can be used with datasets
- Designing formulae and other language challenges
- Using AI to create data: quantifying, extracting, translating and classifying
This session will be recorded with links to the video and supporting documentation emailed to all participants on the Friday following the session.
