How to become a science journalist

In an age of AI, climate change and global pandemics, good science journalism has never been more important.

Whether you’re an established journalist keen to explore scientific subjects or a scientist hoping to hone in on your science communication skills, this class will outline the basics of science journalism, from pitching to best practices for creating accurate, reliable and engaging science news.

Pandora Dewan is the Trending News Editor at Live Science and a science presenter and content creator on social media. Previously, she worked as the Senior Science and Health Reporter at Newsweek and holds a Biological Sciences degree from the University of Oxford.
