WIJ Scotland
Scottish Women in Journalism is an informal group, there to put women journalists both in touch with each other and in the picture about what's happening in their industry. We meet regularly in a social setting, sometimes just down the pub, but sometimes in peoples houses. Two of our most popular events are the Burns Supper in January and the Midsummer Nights Dinner in June. Both have a special atmosphere because they've been held in the homes of prominent Scottish journalists. Between meetings we exchange information and comment via e-mail.
